I wanted to write about how people view God’s thoughts of them and thought this video would be a good introduction. This video is hilarious, but exposes what many think is real, even if carried to an extreme. You might have to listen closely to some of it because of the sound quality. Enjoy!

Will we choose to believe God is still good toward us when hardships are all around? Thanksgiving in all things opens us up to God’s redemption.
If joy is in the fruit of the Spirit, if the joy of the Lord is our strength, and if God has anointed us with the oil of gladness, then why is joy, happiness, and laughter not characteristics of the church?
So often we sing of God’s passionate heart for us. We need to see that this is the same heart He wants in us for Himself. God is looking for people who pursue Him with the same intensity that He pursues us.
If God speaks to us the same aggrandizing words to us that we read in the Bible, why do we question if it is really Him? You are better than you think.
God does not delay to hear our prayers because He has no mind to give;
but that, by enlarging our desires, He may give us the more largely.
We do not exalt God to create distance between us but actually to draw us closer. We are creating more room for God to say how wonderful we are.
As we read the Bible verses about healing, we then have confidence that it is God’s will to heal the sick person. I pray for healing because God says to.
In frustration, her words hurt me. They stayed with me and became how I viewed myself. I needed God to say, “you’re not an embarrassment.”
