This month I am celebrating 10 years of marriage to my wonderful husband with a cruise to Alaska. Together we agreed that we wanted to take our two-year-old daughter along with us. As many of you know, and we are soon to figure out, traveling with a child is difficult. Because our daughter is not quite two yet, we are saving money by not buying her an airline ticket. Airlines allow you to designate a child under two as riding with you. You can save money this way, but you are gambling that you will have an empty seat near you.
One thing we are doing to save space is we are not taking the pack and play. This will save a lot of space as it is a luggage piece in itself. We are able to do this because most hotels have cribs for you to use.
Finally, I am sharing a list of items to be sure you take on a trip if you are traveling with a small child. With this infant travel checklist, you will remember all the important items for your kid and be able to take your trip with confidence. Safe travels…
