1. | While you are so worried about your behavior, God is desperately after your heart. | |
2. | Freedom from any sin is insignificant if it is not accompanied by a greater awareness of God’s love and plan for you. | |
3. | The God, who can do anything He wants, does not presume that we will respond, but seeks to make us want Him by courting us. | |
4. | Since sin has been dealt with, God has transformed sin from only bringing a curse to bringing His grace by exposing darkened areas of the heart. | |
5. | CHRISTIAN FAIL: As Christians we take Jesus as our Savior and think since He has given us salvation, it’s now up to us to live in purity. | |
6. | God knows your attachments to other things hinder you from receiving the full measure of His love, and He loves you too much to leave that sin hidden. | |
7. | God wants so much more for you than merely freedom from sin. | |
8. | What will make God happier: to refuse His gifts because you feel unworthy, or to eagerly pursue those things He wants to give you? | |
9. | Sin saddens God because He loves us so much that He wants us to experience all of the joy in His heart for us. | |
10. | When we really know in our hearts the love of God, we would come running, weeping, and rejoicing into the arms of our Father. | |
11. | If we choose to interpret life without God, we will allow lies to take root in our hearts. | |
12. | In our own wisdom, the things of God will not make sense to us. | |
13. | We are not to look at painful events and say God caused them. But, we must trust the power of our Almighty, Creator God to be able to take those bad circumstances and make something exponentially greater than the evil that was bestowed. | |
14. | Addiction is just a symptom revealing the deeper sickness. We need to look beyond the pain to the joy God has in store for us. | |
15. | God’s desire to bless you is greater than your ability to fail. | |
16. | You don’t need God to make you into someone else; your real you is better than you know. | |
17. | Just as it’s important to believe God uses all things to bring us into intimacy, know that the demonic uses all they can to place lies into our hearts to separate us from God. | |
18. | Our enemy hates God, and we are the only things it can reach to get back at Him. This is why we are at the heart of each battle. | |
19. | God never uses shame to motivate us toward excellence or right living. He never motivates us by withholding His love from us. | |
20. | The voice of God, even when exposing sin, offers hope and life. | |
21. | Listening to what the Spirit has to say, illuminates the lies in our hearts that are keeping us from fully believing the truths of God. | |
22. | The truth of the New Covenant is that nothing can keep us from the blessings of God except the deception that we must do something to receive it, or the deception that we must kill the desire to be blessed because we will never receive it. | |
23. | If you don’t have people to process what is going on inside of your head, these thoughts will remain a tangled web mysteriously motivating your actions. | |
24. | You are worthy because God says you are worthy; therefore there is no good thing that God will withhold from you. | |
25. | He who has the most hope has the most influence. He who has the greatest faith in you will have the greatest impact on your life. | |
26. | God created us and placed within each of us a unique way to express Him to the world. | |
27. | It is the pleasure of God to change lives. | |
28. | My mistakes don’t define me but are transformed by the grace of God. | |
29. | Your sinful act is only an outward expression of something going on in your heart (Luke 6:45). | |
30. | If you are continuing to sin, then there is something about God’s love that has not transformed that area. | |
31. | Your struggle with addiction is an open invitation to ask Holy Spirit what part of God’s love you are missing. | |
32. | Maturity is not measured by outward expressions. Maturity in the Lord happens in the heart. | |
33. | Stop worrying about your ministry or what others may think of you. Confess your sins so that you may run in the delight of God’s extravagant love for you. | |
