But where sin increased, grace increased all the more. – Romans 5:20
Last week, I took a short topical study about grace. God supplies all that we need for all of all circumstances. That is why when sin increases that grace increases more. God gives us more grace in times when sin is at your door. Therefore we are not to offer judgment for the sin of those around us. We are to tap into that grace God is offering and give it to others.
The work of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world of judgment, but that is because the prince of this world is the one condemned (John 6:11). Condemnation and judgment is not for the sons of man anymore. We are ministers of reconciliation and grace (2 Corinthians 5:11 and 1 Peter 4:10).
Our calling is to love others with the love that we have received. And, how did we receive it? We received it freely, lavishly, and without expecting anything in return. Go and do likewise. Our reward is from God and not man. Do you see someone in sin? Then there is someone who is in need of more love. Attack!
