Embracing the Dance of Divine Love: Jesus Is So In Love With You

Jesus is so in love with you

    Jesus Singing Over You

Have you ever experienced a moment during worship where the music and lyrics seem to transport you to a place of deep connection and understanding? That’s exactly what happened to me this past Sunday as we sang Phil Wickham’s Always Forever. From the moment the first notes reached my ears, I knew something special was about to unfold.

As the song began, I couldn’t help but notice a young girl gracefully dancing at the front of the congregation. Her movements seemed to harmonize perfectly with the music, and in that moment, I imagined Jesus Himself stepping onto the dance floor, twirling her around with pure joy and affection. It was a sweet and beautiful image, but what truly touched my heart was the realization that as I sang the chorus, Jesus was singing those words back to me.

Jesus is So In Love With You

Oh, dear friends, let me share with you this incredible truth: Jesus is so in love with us. We are not just mere spectators or distant acquaintances in His eyes. No, we are His beloved bride, His cherished helpmate, and His closest companion. His love for us knows no bounds.

As the song reached its crescendo, the lyrics transitioned into a repetition of resounding hallelujahs. In that moment, my heart yearned to sing out, “How He loves us, How He loves us, How He loves us, forever.” It was a heartfelt reminder that we do not need to strive or earn God’s love; it is a gift freely given, waiting for us to receive and embrace.

And as we returned to those hallelujahs later in the song, my heart was filled with an overwhelming desire to respond, “How I love Him, How I love Him, How I love Him, forever.” When we truly grasp the depth of His love for us, we cannot help but pour out our love in return. It is a natural response to His overwhelming affection.

We Have Confidence in the Love of Christ

When we fully understand the magnitude of how we are loved, it transforms the way we approach God’s throne. We come before Him with confidence, knowing that as Jesus sees us approaching, His heart exclaims, “There’s the one I love!” Can you fathom that? The One who knows us intimately, who sees every flaw and failure, loves us unconditionally and invites us to share our desires and longings with Him.

Why would we ever hide our hearts from the One who loves us so much? Let us open ourselves up to Him, casting aside our fears and insecurities, knowing that in His embrace, we find acceptance, healing, and true fulfillment.

So, my dear friends, let us dance with joy in the love of Jesus. Let us sing our praises with abandon, for we are cherished, adored, and deeply loved. May our lives be a beautiful symphony of love, resonating with the melody of His grace and compassion. And may we never forget that in the arms of our Savior, we find a love that will last for all eternity.

Hallelujah! How He loves us, forever.

    Always Forever – Phil Wickham

You are the hand that catches my fall
You are the friend that answers my call
You are my day, You are my night
You are my love and all of my life

    CHORUS:
You are the love I need
You are the air I breathe
You are my love my life always forever
I would lay down my life
Just to be by Your side
You are my love my life always forever

You are the grace that covers my sin
You’re everything the beginning and end
You have my soul, my heart and my mind
You have my love and all of my life

    Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah, forever
